Tony Ryan appointed as head of HE sales

Tony joins XMA as HE Client Director to head up its HE business having worked in the IT sector for over 15 years.  Since first starting on Dell’s Graduate Scheme Tony has worked in a number of senior IT sales roles, specifically managing the Higher Education Sector.  He has worked both for multi-national IT companies such as Dell and Insight, as well as for companies dedicated to the Education Sector, including RM.

Reporting to Lee Hemani, XMA’s Sales Director, Tony is delighted to be leading the way in HE.  Tony says, “XMA has always been a company which has been very visible to the HE sector, often seen as a ”trusted advisor” to universities.  Whilst universities are faced with the biggest challenge of ‘doing more with less’ I am confident we can help our customers overcome these hurdles through our bespoke solutions.  Right now we’re consulting with universities on desktop/server virtualisation and standardisation and simply helping them to improve their own efficiencies, bringing them cost savings with their current infrastructure and equipment”.
