Ranger Remote Control gives teachers the ability to remotely watch, share or control students’ PCs for training or support purposes and restrict access to certain applications and websites, helping focus the direction of the lesson.
- Monitor – keep a watchful eye on what students are working on
- Control – specify applications available during a lesson and restrict/block Web access. Lock screens and keyboards to get the class’ attention or take control of students’ PCs to demonstrate work
- Teach – broadcast your screen or students’ screens to the class or to selected individuals, provide discrete support via on-line help and chat requests, plus send alerts to get attention
- Assess – record students’ screen activity to review later, set and administer computer-based tests and gather feedback through instant student surveys
- Remote assistance – where help is required, network managers can provide assistance using the chat and control functions – in just the same way as a teacher would take control of a student’s machine.
