mid range and entry level media and drives with Storagetek libraries to
impose strict quality control on approved storage systems. To provide a
higher level of protection for your data, Sun sells only new tape
cartridges.
Sun’s enterprise media consists of enterprise
capacity media for the Sun Storagetek TM10000 tape drive and the Sun
Storagetek T9940 & T9840 tape drives.
Sun’s Mid Range
media consists of Sun’s Storagetek LTO Ultrium Data Cartridges, Super
DLT & DLT media. Mid range drive and media technologies are used
for both stand alone and automated applications that have medium to
high throughput.
