The system features a choice of 160GB & 320GB cartridges, with a
roadmap to provide 750GB cartridges by 2011. Drives are connected
through a compact, plug and play internal or external USB dock to
deliver fast, disk-based storage and retrieval at up to 30MB/sec and up
to 5,000 load/unloads per cartridge.
Familiar drag-and-drop functionality makes backing up a quick and
simple operation. Compatible with most popular backup applications such
as HP Data Protector Express, CA BrightStor ARCServe Backup and
Symantec Backup Exec, HP RDX enables you to easily establish and run
automated back-up procedures.
RDX provides a more durable backup option than external hard drives or
USB memory sticks and demonstrates better drop and thermal resistance
that other RHDD solutions. Portable, durable and shockproof cartridges
