
Croydon College now have around 268 Brother printers as the college are standardising to reduce costs and improve performance. Many of their old inkjet printers have been replaced with centralised Brother's HL-4050CDN colour laser printers and in areas where they need multifunction capabilities, the DCP-9042CDN has been introduced. They wanted to reduce their overall print costs and carbon footprint in line with their changing strategy.
With over 13,000 students choosing to study with the College each year, Croydon College is one of the largest providers of Further and Higher Education courses in the South East.
Spanning three sites and a total of 39,000 square metres, the college employs 1,000 academic and business support staff.
With over 2,100 PCs and 400 printers on site, the college were addressing their overall print strategy to reduce capital outlay and ongoing expenditure.
