ICEE
The Imaging Consumables Coalition of Europe
(ICCE) was formed to increase awareness of counterfeit product
entering the distribution chain.
The problem in Europe is estimated to be 5%
of the total European Supplies Market, i.e. US$500 million. This
is further confirmed by the fact that individual consumable manufacturers
are increasingly embroiled in legal actions against manufacturers
and distributors/ resellers of fraudulent imaging supplies.
The ICCE, is a non-profit making association
originally consisting of five members, namely Epson, Hewlett Packard,
Lexmark, Oki and Tally. ICCE is continually developing initiatives
to prevent fake consumables from entering the market place and
has recently devised the ICCE Partner Program. XMA are a member
of this program and we are working in partnership with our vendors
to create a strong anti-counterfeit message in the market place
and fight against the counterfeiters.
