On-site Technical Resource


As well as providing a remote help desk solution XMA can also provide physical engineering support. This  service is fully customisable depending on your requirements.

 

XMA’s on-site support can be scaled to suit your requirements, from a weekly scheduled technical visit through to an embedded technician to support a short or fixed term resourcing need.

 

For example, in the school environment, XMA offers a bespoke schools technician service to help take  problems of a technical nature away from teachers and pupils and focus on embedding ICT in the curriculum. Services start  at as little as half a day a fortnight and can range up to 5 days a week.

 

Hardware Maintenance & Extended Warranty

Whilst every hardware manufacturer will provide a standard warranty there is usually no guarantee of the service level. Often equipment will need to be returned to base as opposed to an on-site repair. This can have ramifications on availability of equipment for the user, which will impact their productivity.

 

XMA’s range of hardware maintenance contracts can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. Service levels can range from a response only based cover through to a four hour guaranteed fixed cover. We are also able to offer high availability support for critical LOB servers or business critical components. All of these services are supported by a fully documented Service Level Agreement (SLA) and support is provided by

Repairs

XMA is an Authorised Service Centre for Toshiba and Fujitsu-Siemens notebooks as well as an accredited Apple Authorised Service Centre. This enables XMA to provide warranty or out of warranty repairs for either of these manufacturer’s products, regardless of where they were originally purchased. Insurance

Over 72,000 computers are stolen and 108,000 are accidentally damaged each year. XMA can provide a full solution to insure IT equipment against fire, theft and accidental damage.

 

If equipment is beyond repair or has been stolen we will replace the equipment. We will always supply a product to the same or higher specification.
